This week, its another session of more music, less talk.

A word to the wise: more comments = more music. Enough said.

First up, the King of Kenyan Twist: Mr. Daudi Kabaka.

Strictly for fun
+  Pulp Fiction redux posthumously by Jim Henson’s Muppets from 416film.com

It stars Ozzy Bear as Samuel Jackson’s Jules Winnfield, Beaker as Butch Coolidge played by Bruce Willis in the real movie, Kermit the Frog is John Travolta’s Vincent Vega. Miss Piggy is Uma Thurman’s Mia Wallace and Dr. Teeth as Marsellus Wallace – actually Ving Rhames’s in the movie – complete the round-up.

Thanks for the music…..I have been leaving comments but for some reason an error page appears.
Got any more Malage de lugendo?

Sorry about that, I have set up my anti-spam engine to be pretty aggressive these days as I was being overwhelmed.

Nothing else in mp3 format from Malage but there are a ton of his videos with great sound quality on YouTube.

i was here, it is good. especially liked daudi kabaka. i like how it was shorter. so the repetition of the beat didn’t wear on me.
    thanks

Another crackin’ selection but is anyone having trouble with the Les Wanyika track jumping all over the place especially around 5m.50sec in ?

David, the track definitely has some issues at that point: some skipping and maybe 10 seconds lost. I live with it because it is the only version that I have…

    Good stuff Steve,
Pse keep them coming.Fridays are almost empty without tunes from you. They remind all of us about not only the things we did and love in the past but also where we are from.Nothing is sweeter than home, at least I am grown up enough to know that.

Thanks for the kind comments Jeff.

It was a pleasure to run across you the other day and find out that we are now neighbors. Hopefully, we will get to meet again soon.

    Hi Steve,

unless I’m mistaken “jungle funk” is not from the LP pictured (which sounds more like osadebe) rather its from the LP “Destruction” on orbitone

You are absolutely right Zim, the cover art is from an album that does not have this particular track. I, however, do not have the correct album cover. Any chance that you could help?
